Upper School Enrichment Opportunities

Field Trips.  Students in middle school and high school continue to enjoy various field trips each year that enhance their educational experience. Frequent destinations include Medieval Times, the Institute of Wilderness Studies at Pine Cove, San Antonio, war reenactments, area museums, area colleges and universities, and more.

Pine Cove Retreat Retreats. Upper school students enjoy a back-to-school, off-campus retreat each year prior to the first day of classes.  A one-day Life Purpose Conference is held for upper school students each fall.

Bi-weekly Chapels.  A team of Bible teachers and senior students lead chapel services for all upper school students every two weeks.  Students participate in worship, prayer, and small group discussions.

Community and International Service. Led by our Student Council, students at CHS contribute to various community and international service projects, such as assisting the Hi-Way 80 Rescue Mission at Thanksgiving, fund-raising for a well-building project in Africa, and leading a can drive.Chapel
